Help Please

Next ten days or so

I am doing some radio shows around the Exeter Street Arts Festival. Includes Drama Show Thursday 8-10 on PhonicFM . I can find YouTube playlists for headliners on party at Phoenix. Probably some sound for music performers. But I do not know contacts or mp3 links for theatre, storytelling poetry though in scope for event. Previously Widsith and Deor Theatre was a base for info. Please send suggestions, info , links. will.pollard@gmail.com or @will789gb on Twitter.

Next month and later

The Drama Show can feature any sound, not just at time of Street Art Festival. During lockdown there was research about outside performance and central city remix of space . Observing street performance is one way to continue this. ( There is still time to explore slots for the 2022 event by the way ) But this paragraph is for future occasions when content might be available for radio / social media ahead of live performance.

Cybercrash 2 backup and MOOC options

I still think Adobe and NASDAQ could head quite a bit lower. There is an upbeat recently but if there is a UK recession as Bank of England predicts then there could be some issuesfor tech. Share prices for Coursera and 2U continue low, as if at bottom of a shape similar to 2000 phase. FutureLearn is possibly in a similar situation. So I am expecting continuing problems for a few years. Around 2000 there was a major rethink around Web 2.0 and significant innovation. It may not be clear what happens next for a while.

Dhawal Shah on Class Central reports on 2U and expects the EdX brand to be more upfront. But less promotion for free courses. My hope /  guess is that the free aspect of MOOC scene could continue partly as promotion, a way to connect with potential students for paid degrees etc. In UK I don't think the presentation around FutureLearn is clear enough on this so far. Things may change.
